2.20. Check and adjustment клапанных backlashes
19.1 Коромысла engines on which it is not necessary to spend adjustment of backlashes клапанного the mechanism look as follows (are specified by arrows) - on them there are no adjusting screws

1. Клапанные backlashes are necessary for regulating through certain time intervals, when the engine прогрет to normal working temperature. On some models клапанные backlashes are not subject to adjustment. These models on valves do not have adjusting screws (19.1).
2. Remove the air filter and a cover клапанного the mechanism.
3. Establish cylinder N1 piston in position ВМТ at the moment of a compression step. In this position коромысла the first cylinder should move freely.
19.4 When cylinder N1 piston is in position ВМТ, adjust backlashes of the valves marked with the letter And - when cylinder N4 piston is in ВМТ, adjust backlashes of the valves marked with the letter In

4. In this position of the valve, marked with the letter And (and injecting the valve, located near inlet valves) it is possible to check up and adjust. Always the first check and regulate backlashes of injecting valves (19.4).
5. Adjusting screws of inlet and injecting valves are located on коромыслах. Turn off the adjusting screw of the inlet valve on two full turns, then turn off a counternut on the adjusting screw of the injecting valve.
19.6 At extraction щупа from a backlash between the valve and the adjusting screw easy resistance should be felt

6. Insert щуп between a rod of the injecting valve and the adjusting screw and accurately twirl the screw so that щуп has been slightly pressed by the screw to the valve (19.6).
7.  As a spring of the injecting valve rather weak ,   be accurate  not to open the valve.       
19.8 That the adjusting screw did not rotate at a counternut twisting keep it by means of a wrench

8. Then check up and adjust backlashes of inlet valves, and after them backlashes of final valves (19.8).
9. Establish cylinder N4 piston in position ВМТ at the moment of a step of compression and adjust backlashes of the valves marked with the letter (19.4).
10. On termination of adjustment establish a cover клапанного the mechanism and the air filter into place.
