12.9. The main cylinder of brake system - removal, a partition and installation

1. The main brake cylinder is established in an impellent compartment on a servoamplifier.

2. Pump out as much as possible a brake liquid from a tank.

3. Put rags under connections of tubes and prepare caps or bags to close the ends of tubes after a detachment.

8.4 Turn off nuts of connections of brake tubes (are specified by arrows)

4. Turn off nuts of connections and disconnect brake tubes from the cylinder (8.4).

5. Take away the ends of tubes from the cylinder and close their ends.

6. Disconnect a socket of connection of the main cylinder, then turn off nuts, крепящие the cylinder to a servoamplifier (8.6). Remove the cylinder

8.6 Disconnect sockets of connection and turn off fixing nuts of the cylinder (are specified by arrows)

7. Before the partition beginning get the corresponding repair complete set.

8.8а Turn off the fixing screw of a tank (it is specified by an arrow).

8. Examine tank plugs on presence of traces of leak and remove a tank (8.8а and 8.8б).

8.9 Press pistons deep into the cylinder and unscrew the lock screw 14. Connect a brake tube and tighten a connection nut, then tighten fixing bolts of the cylinder till the demanded moment of an inhaling.

9.  Clamp the cylinder in a vice. Lower pistons deep into the cylinder and unscrew the lock screw sideways the cylinder (8.9).

8.10 Press pistons inside and remove a cutting lock ring

10. Accurately remove a lock ring on the brink of the cylinder (8.10).

8.11а Get the primary piston from the cylinder

11.   Get  internal  elements  of the cylinder (8.11а, 8.11б and 8.11в).

12. Examine an internal surface of the cylinder on presence of deep scratches or other damages and replace the cylinder if it is necessary. Establish all spare parts from the repair complete set and establish a new cutting lock ring.

13. Before installation of the main cylinder it is necessary for pumping over. For this purpose clamp the cylinder in a vice, establish заглушки on final apertures and fill a tank with a brake liquid. Open one заглушку and, having pressed on the piston, remove air from the cylinder, then close заглушку that air has not got back to the cylinder.

14. Repeat this operation while all air will not be removed, and the pure brake liquid not begins to follow from an aperture, then close заглушку, and repeat this operation with the second aperture and заглушкой. At prorolling carrying out it is unessential to establish each time заглушку into place - it is possible to close simply an aperture a finger.

15. Establish the cylinder on a servoamplifier and slightly twirl fixing nuts. Connect brake tubes, then definitively tighten fixing nuts of the main cylinder and brake tubes. Fill in a brake liquid in a tank and pump over brake system.
