7.20. A starter - check

1. If the starter does not work at ignition inclusion, check up, that the lever of an automatic transmission was in position neutral or парковочной transfers (for models with an automatic transmission) or the coupling pedal has been squeezed out (for models with a mechanical transmission).

2. Check up gymnastics of the accumulator and connecting wires.

3. If the starter works, but the cranked shaft does not rotate, check up обгонную муфту.

4. If it is not audible click of the involving relay, check up the accumulator gymnastics, a burnt through crosspiece and the relay.

5. Submit a food directly on a starter and check up starter work.

6. Disconnect the fuel pump and connect the voltmeter to accumulator plugs

7. Include ignition and take readings of the gauge. If pressure makes 9 Volt or more, however the starter rotates a cranked shaft of the engine  very slowly, means, the starter is faulty. If pressure is less 9 Volt and speed of work of a starter slow, possibly, contacts of the involving relay have scorched, the starter is faulty, the accumulator is discharged or somewhere there is a bad connection of wires.
