6.12. The carburettor - check and adjustmentAdjustment of speed of idling and structure of a fuel mix

Check of system of fast idling

11.2а Examine a hose of a diaphragm of system of fast idling (1) on presence of cracks and deterioration traces - disconnect a hose before diaphragm check; turn off two screws (2) for diaphragm removal; for diaphragm adjustment the adjusting screw (3) serves

11.2б Examine hoses and the wires connected to a diaphragm of system of fast idling (1) - turn off two bolts (2) and remove a fixing arm of the solenoid
|
2. Check up vacuum hoses and wires of the solenoid of system of fast idling ( 11.2а and 11.2б).
3. Connect the vacuum pump to a diaphragm of system of fast idling. Connect a tachometre. Start the engine and leave it to work in an idling mode.
4. By means of the pump create depression in 295 mm of a mercury column. Depression should increase. If is not present, replace a diaphragm.

11.9 Take away a rod in a direction specified by an arrow, and disconnect a rod of a diaphragm from the lever
|
9. Disconnect a returnable spring of the lever throttle заслонки. Turn off two fixing screws ( 11.2а), disconnect a rod of a diaphragm from the switching off lever ( 11.9) and remove a diaphragm.
10. Establish a new diaphragm and connect a vacuum hose.
Adjustment
11. Check up and adjust speed of idling.
12. Remove a fixing arm of the solenoid (11.26). Disconnect a socket of connection and connect the solenoid directly to the accumulator.
"13. Slightly open throttle заслонку a little and increase speed of work of the engine to 2000 rpm, then slowly close it.
14. Check up speed of work of the engine and adjust it, rotating the adjusting screw (11,2а).
15. Repeat the operations described in point 13, and again check up speed of work of the engine.

11.16 For adjustment of speed of work of the engine in a mode of fast idling at conditioner inclusion, tighten up the adjusting screw throttle заслонки (it is specified by an arrow)

16. Start the engine and include the conditioner. The electromagnetic valve should open and depression of an inlet collector should open a diaphragm. Check up speed of work of the engine in this mode and adjust it if it is necessary, having tightened up the adjusting screw ( 11.16).
Check of the electromagnetic valve of system of fast idling
17. Switch off ignition. Remove the electromagnetic valve and disconnect a connection socket ( 11.2б).
18. Check up resistance of a winding of the solenoid and replace the valve if it is necessary.
Check of the valve of a stopping delivery of fuel, the concentrating valve, the valve of adjustment of structure of a mix and the ventilating valve поплавковой chambers

11.19а For check of windings of the electromagnetic valve disconnect a socket of connection and measure resistance between the specified plugs (for the ventilating valve поплавковой chambers measure resistance between the specified plug and the negative plug of the accumulator) and compare the received values to the values specified in section of technical characteristics:

3. The valve of a stopping delivery of fuel

11.19д At replacement of the electromagnetic valve remove the plug (1) from an underside of a socket of connection, having pressed on a uvula located near the plug, a screw-driver. For removal of the electromagnetic valve of ventilation поплавковой chambers (2) turn off three fixing screws

19. Disconnect a connection socket. Check up resistance of windings of solenoids and replace them if it is necessary ( 11.19а, 11.19б, 11.19в, 11.19г and 11.19д).

11.20 For check of the gauge position throttle заслонки disconnect a socket of connection and measure resistance between plugs 2 and 3

20. Check up resistance between plugs 2 and 3 gauges and check up, that resistance gradually changed at opening throttle заслонки ( 11.20).
Adjustment

11.21 Check up, that the cam of fast idling was free (the lever should not rest against a cam)

21. Warm up the engine. Ослабьте a tension of a rope of an accelerator also check up, that the cam of fast idling was free ( 11.21). Muffle the engine.

11.22 Turn off adjusting screws SAS-1 and SAS-2 that throttle заслонка it has been completely closed, counting up number of turns

22. Including number of turns, turn off adjusting screws of speed of work of the engine (SAS-1 and SAS-2) ( 11.22) that throttle заслонка it has been completely closed.

11.23а If on your car such type of the gauge position throttle заслонки (1) is established, for its adjustment use the screw (2).

11.23б If on your car such type of the gauge position throttle заслонки is established, turn off fixing screws and adjust the gauge, having turned it

23. Check up pressure of the gauge at the included ignition between plugs 2 and 3 and adjust it if it is necessary, rotating the adjusting screw or having turned the gauge ( 11.20, 11.23а and 11.23б).
24. Switch off ignition.
25. Twirl adjusting screws SAS-1 and SAS-2 on the same number of turns, that they have been turned off.
26. Adjust a tension of a rope of an accelerator. Start the engine and check up speed of idling.
Check and adjustment демпфера the carburettor
27. Warm up the engine and switch off all electric equipment.

11.28 When the engine works in an idling mode, open throttle заслонку so that the lever has concerned screw SAS-3

30. If speed differs from specified, adjust демпфер, rotating screw SAS-3.
31. Take away the lever and check up, that speed of work of the engine has slowly returned to speed of idling.

32. Check up, that marks in the case заслонки and a bimetallic spiral ( 11.32) coincided .
33. When the engine cold squeeze out an accelerator pedal, air заслонка should be completely closed.
34. Check up, that at engine start заслонка it was slightly opened on 1,5 mm. If is not present, check up a bimetallic spiral, diaphragms of opening air заслонки and vacuum hoses.

35. Warm up the engine and switch off all electric equipment of the car. Remove the air filter. Disconnect a vacuum hose from a diaphragm of opening air заслонки ( 11.35).

37. Check up resistance of a spiral. It should make 6 Ohm at a room temperature. If is not present, replace a spiral ( 11.37).
