2.32. Maintenance service of system of cooling (replacement of a cooling liquid and washing)

1. Periodically cooling liquid it is necessary to replace and wash out system of cooling for prevention of formation of corrosion and a rust.

31.2 Before opening of the drain valve, put on the union a hose for plum of a cooling liquid

2. Remove a radiator cover. Remove the protective guard located under a radiator. Connect a hose in diameter about 9 mm to the drain union and merge cooling liquid. (31.2).
31.3 After the cooling liquid will be merged from a radiator, remove заглушку the block of cylinders and wait, while the cooling liquid will flow down from the block of cylinders

3.  Then remove заглушку a drain aperture of the block of cylinders and merge cooling liquid from the engine (31.3).
4. Check up a condition of hoses of a radiator, hoses of an oven and collars. Replace the damaged collars and hoses.
Washing
5. After слития a cooling liquid wash out a radiator pure water from a hose. For removal of a rust and a scum use special cleaning solutions.
Gulf of a cooling liquid
6. Close a drain branch pipe on a radiator and establish заглушку a drain aperture on the block of cylinders.
7. Translate рычажок temperature adjustments in salon in position of the maximum temperature.
8. Gradually fill in a new cooling liquid (50 % a water and antifreeze mix) in a radiator. Fill in cooling liquid in a broad tank to mark MIN.
9. Not closing a radiator cover, warm up the engine so that the thermostat (a cooling liquid has opened will begin to flow through a radiator, and the top hose of a radiator becomes hot).
10.  Muffle the engine and wait, while it will cool down. Add cooling liquid that its level has risen to edge of a jellied mouth of a radiator.
11. Compress the top hose of a radiator to remove from it air, then add cooling liquid if it is necessary. Establish a radiator cover into place.
