12.5. A support of a disk brake - removal, a partition and installation

1. Pump out a brake liquid from a tank.

2. Lift the car and remove wheels.

3. Remove brake overlays from a support.

4. Disconnect a brake hose from a support and close its end.

4.5 At removal of support Sumitomo, turn off bolts, крепящие половинки a support together () - turn off fixing bolts of a support () and remove a support from the car

5. Turn off two bolts, крепящие половинки a support together (4.5). Turn off two fixing bolts and remove a support from the car.

4.6 Turn off a connection bolt банджо (it is specified by an arrow) on models with such connection

6. Disconnect a brake hose from a support and close the end of a hose (4.6).

7. Turn off fixing bolts of a support and remove it.

8. Clear an external surface of a support spirit or a cleaning liquid for brakes.

4.9а Clamp support Sumitomo in a vice, turn off bolts, крепящие internal and external половинки a support together and divide them

4.9б the Internal part of a support now can be removed from an arm

9. At a partition of support Sumitomo turn off two bolts, крепящие половинки a support together, then divide them (4.9а). Then remove an arm (4.9б).

10. For extraction of the piston from a support:

4.10а On supports Sumitomo put a support the piston downwards and squeeze out the piston the compressed air

On supports Sumitomo put a support the party with the piston downwards on a desktop and squeeze out the piston by means of compressed air (4.10а).

4.10б On supports of all other models, establish in a support a tree piece

On supports of all other models, establish in a support the wooden block or rags (4.10б), then squeeze out the piston by means of compressed air.

4.11 Remove a dustproof cover

11. Remove a dustproof cover (4.11).

4.12 Remove consolidation of the piston from a flute in the cylinder

12. Remove consolidation of the piston from a flute in the cylinder (4.12).

4.13 Unscrew the final screw

13.   Unscrew  the final  screw.  On  supports Sumitomo remove the plug of a finger from an arm of a support (4.13). On all other models remove covers and plugs.

14. Clear other elements spirit or a cleaning liquid of brakes, then dry up them.

15. Examine the piston on presence of scratches or jags and replace it if they are present.

16. Examine the cylinder on presence of scratches, jags or corrosion.

17. Grease the cylinder with a pure brake liquid, grease new consolidation of the piston силиконовой with greasing or a brake liquid and establish consolidation in the cylinder.

4.18а On supports where for fastening of a dustproof cover the fixing ring is used, grease the piston with a brake liquid. Insert the piston into the cylinder and press it deep into the cylinder

4.18б Establish a cover from above the piston.

4.18в... Then establish a new fixing ring

18. On supports where for fastening of a dustproof cover the fixing ring is used, grease the piston with a brake liquid. Insert the piston into the cylinder and press it deep into the cylinder (4.18а). Grease a flute on the piston силиконовой with greasing, then establish a dustproof  cover and a fixing ring (4.18б and 4.18в).

4.19а On models without a fixing ring of a cover, establish a cover on the bottom part of the piston...

4.19б... Then establish a cover edge in the top flute in the cylinder and lower the piston i the cylinder

19. On other supports grease the piston and edges of a cover of the piston силиконовой with greasing, then establish a cover on a piston bottom edge (4.19а). Establish the piston and a cover in the cylinder and establish a cover in a flute in the cylinder (4.19б). Then lower the piston deep into the cylinder.

4.20 On supports Sumitomo grease arm fingers силиконовой with greasing, establish internal половинку a support on an arm

20. On support Sumitomo grease силиконовой with greasing fingers of an arm of a support and establish an arm on internal половинку a support (4.20).

Combine половинки a support, establish bolts and tighten them till the demanded moment of an inhaling.

4.21 On supports of other models grease силиконовой with greasing of the plug and fingers, cylinders and edges of rubber covers From the plug                1. 21. On all other models of supports grease plugs, apertures in a support and covers силиконовой with greasing, then establish these elements on a support (4.21).

22. On supports Sumitomo establish a support on a brake disk. Establish fixing bolts and tighten them till the demanded moment of an inhaling. Then connect a brake hose and establish brake overlays.

23. On other models of supports establish brake overlays, then establish a support and fingers or fixing bolts and tighten them till the demanded  moment  of an inhaling.  Connect  a brake hose.

24. Pump over brakes.

25. Establish wheels and lower the car on the earth.

26. Squeeze out a brake pedal some times.
