1.40.1. If the engine is not got - simple check

If the engine shaft does not rotate or rotates slowly

1. If in your car an automatic transmission, be convinced that the control lever costs in a position. "N" or "Р".

2. Check up reliability of fixing of clips at poles of the accumulator and their cleanliness.

3. Include internal illumination. If it is not shone or shone only poorly, or dies away, when the starter joins, the accumulator means was discharged.

It is possible to try to get the engine at use of the extraneous accumulator or if in the car there is a mechanical transmission, start-up can be carried out by pushing.

The engine it is possible get by means of the extraneous accumulator, but not to resort neither to towing, nor to car pushing. The catalyst can overheat and then there is a danger of ignition.

1. The ignition coil

If the engine shaft is scrolled with usual number of turns, however is not got:

1. Check up fuel level.

2. Check up: all butt connections at  the ignition coil , at the distributor and spark plugs should have reliable planting.

3.  If the engine warm or is a smell of not burnt down fuel, possibly the engine has received too much fuel. Read instructions on engine start-up.

If the engine nevertheless is not got, turn out spark plugs and dry them. The engine "scroll" about 20 seconds a starter and again twist spark plugs.

4.  If the engine all the same is not got, it should be adjusted or repaired. Address in representation Tojota or in a specialised workshop.

If the car has an automatic transmission, its engine cannot be got by car pushing. At the car having the catalyst, the engine too it is impossible to start by car pushing.

1. Be convinced that the pushing bar of the pushing car is  at  one  height  with a bar of your car as it is necessary for powerful pushing. If bars not at one height, it can lead to that one bar will hit about another, as a result there can be damages or accidents.

2. The ignition key establish in a position "ON" and include 2nd transfer.

3. At the pedal of coupling pressed to the full wait, while the pushing  car  gradually  will not actuate your car - till the speed about 15 km/h. Remember that the brake pedal should be pressed essentially more strongly if the engine is disconnected.

4. At speed of 15 km/h keep an accelerator pedal approximately to half pressed and slowly release coupling that the engine could be got.

5. When the engine was got, to the driver of the pushing car give a sign for a stop.

Simultaneously press a pedal of an accelerator and drive off from the pushing car in collision avoiding.

Never pull the car to get its engine. When the engine will be got, the car can suddenly run and put damage to the pulling car.

In order to avoid traumas of a body and damages of your car because of explosion of the accumulator, chemical burns, burns an electric current, electric equipment damages, it is necessary as it is possible to observe below-mentioned instructions more precisely.

If you are not assured that can execute this process, we recommend to address to the qualified mechanic or in service service. Attention! Accumulators contain sulfuric acid which is poisonous and operates разъедающе. It is necessary to carry goggles when work near the accumulator. It is inadmissible, that acid splashes got on a skin, clothes and on the car.

If nevertheless it was not possible to avoid it, immediately remove clothes with splashes of acid and corresponding sites of a skin wash out water at least 15 minutes Urgently address to the doctor. The gas made by the accumulator, is explosive. Therefore it is impossible to smoke, if the engine of your car is got by means of the auxiliary accumulator. The auxiliary accumulator should have pressure of 12 Volt. Check up pressure of the auxiliary accumulator before it connect to the car.

1. If the auxiliary accumulator is built in in other car, to pay attention: both cars   should not  concern each other. Disconnect unnecessary consumers of the electric power in both cars.

2. Unscrew all stoppers of both accumulators. On open apertures lay rags - thanks to atom        danger of explosion decreases    .

3. If in the car from which there is    a starting    help the engine is disconnected, include it and allow to work some minutes. During process of auxiliary start-up the engine should work with number of turns nearby 2000 about. Minute

4. Cables attach in a correct order as it is specified in drawing. Plus to plus (+). A minus - to the engine or "to weight" (-)

Pay attention to that the cable at first joins to plus - to a pole of the discharged accumulator, and then already to the auxiliary accumulator. Then минускабель from a minus - poles of the auxiliary accumulator joins stationary purely metal detail, for example, to a rem-bolt of the engine which is a little removed from the accumulator. It is impossible to attach to details or near to those parts which движутся at engine functioning Carrying out connections, pay attention that connecting cables and plugs even casually did not adjoin to what other, except a corresponding pole of the accumulator and "weight", for example, an engine rem-bolt. At performance of connections do not lean the elbows on the accumulator.

5. Get the engine in the usual way. After the engine was got, allow to it to work on accelerated single to a course (2000 rpm) - 2 minutes

6. Disconnect connecting cables accurately and precisely upside-down: at first a minus a-cable, and then plus-cable.

7. Be cautious at removal of rags which have been laid on accumulators - they could absorb sulfuric acid.

8. Reliably twirl all stoppers. If the reason of a discharge of your accumulator   is not clear,   for example, the forgotten  included  illumination, it is necessary to find out the reason and to eliminate it.

Removal of air from fuel system - the diesel engine

If the fuel tank has been completely devastated also the engine has stopped, after fuelling the engine can not earn. Then it is necessary to include the manual pump, all increasing resistance will not be reached yet.
